Perfect villa for any occasion

We booked this villa hoping for a relaxing family holiday. It was that and more with stunning views and the villa is done out so lovely. Child-friendly. Even had child plates and cups. We loved the bbq area and the eating outside as a family on an evening was perfect. Would definitely recommend this villa. Car hire is needed to get around which was cheap from airport arrivals. Money well spent.

This lovely villa had everything we wanted and needed for our relaxing holiday. We were a mixed group in terms of age; but the villa had something to offer us all, from the lovely pool, and outside BBQ area, to the large and when needed shaded veranda. The location of the bedrooms meant we all had the space our group needed. The open family kitchen and living room was a good social space in the middle for us all to get together. Situated just outside Alghero means it's close to the beaches, the town and not far from the airport. I was just so convenient. A car is a must for the villa and is essential to see this beautiful unspoiled island.

My family and I enjoyed a magical time in villa Serena Alghero this year. The facilities were first class and catered for all our needs. The location was perfect and the town/beach exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back. See you next year.

This Stunning Villa really has it all!

We have just come back from a week-long stay at the stunning Villa Serena. We booked with the owners at short notice and they were brilliantly helpful and accommodating. The Villa is literally a 5-10 minute drive from the airport and 10 minutes from Alghero town centre so is perfectly located but you will need a car to get about. The old town is really lovely to walk around and there are some fantastic gelaterias in and around this area and the most amazingly presented Pirate sweet shop! There are some stunning beaches nearby and plenty of supermarkets to stock up on supplies. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids (6 & 8) and the villa's clever layout provided enough space for us all with room to spare. Each room had plenty of bath towels and the beds were all very comfortable. This Villa has everything you could want, all the rooms are spotlessly clean and well furnished with plenty of space to store your belongings. We had some a couple of rainy days during our stay but the Villa's table tennis table, board games and Netflix meant we still had plenty to do and most importantly the kids were entertained and happy. The instruction booklet provided by the owners provide you with all the information, instructions and local tips you will need but were at the end of a phone ready to help with any questions we had. As we were the first guests of the season the table tennis table hadn't been set up yet and after one text message, a man arrived with new bats, balls and ready to set up the table for us. Brilliant! Thank you, Pasqualino! By the way, your restaurant recommendation was perfect and we had our favourite meal of the holiday there! The kitchen facilities were fantastic and the owners have included everything you could need. Dishwasher, Microwave, coffee machine, washing machine... They even provided a welcome basket on our arrival including a few essentials, really, really lovely touch. The pool is an amazing addition and has plenty of garden furniture, enough sun loungers for us all. These guys have thought of everything and prepared their stunning villa with real care to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. We'll definitely be back and have already been recommending to our friends. Thank you

Amazing Alghero

Our first time in Sardinia and one holiday we won't forget. What a beautiful tradional Villa with spacious private mature gardens,even with its own olive trees. The swimming pool was excellent, clean and suitable for children and also provided good quality sun loungers. Inside the facilities far exceeded our expectations and every need was catered for.The bedrooms provided more than enough space for the 6 of us with accommodation that was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and two well appointed shower rooms The fully equipped kitchen was great and there was even a dishwasher but to add to this there was a further cooking area outside with a barbecue which proved invaluable as we dined outside most of the time. The location is so convenient being only 10 minutes drive from the airport. The lovely beaches and the shops were even closer. A particular favourite of ours was strolling around the Old Town something not to be missed. Finally I would just like to thank the owners for all their help as we booked the villa at short notice and they were really helpful in ensuring all arrangements were provided efficiently and on time. Nothing was too much trouble and they even provided an itinerary of interesting places to visit. The whole experience was wonderful and thanks again to you both. We promise we will be returning.

The location is top notch, the Villa is clean and modern, the pool is a God send, the beaches are close and stunning, all amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants are close, and above all the owners Jacquie and Marco have been uber awesome and fun and helpful and kind....we are so happy that we booked with them and we will definitely will book again with them hands down! Splendid villa just a few minutes from the center of Alghero and the beaches. The rooms are very comfortable. The kitchen is complete with utensils and the pool is suitable for all ages. The villa has all the necessário for a good stay: including wi-fi and cable TV. The lawn is well maintained. I hope to return there soon. I recommend this villa to all the vacationers.

This villa's location is exceptional, just minutes away from Alghero where every modern convenience can be found (supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants etc.). A few wonderful (e.g. Maria Pia) beaches are also less than 10 minutes away. It is an excellent base for excursions throughout north Sardinia. Olbia airport is about 1.5 hours away. The villa is very spacious for us 3 (didn't use downstairs at all), with a fully equipped kitchen & all rooms very comfortable. I had initial reservations about the foam beds but they were not a problem at all; we slept like babies. Bedding were changed mid stay and the bathroom cleaned as well. Even though the pool water was chilly in late October (there was a mini heatwave of average temps around 23C), we made use of the pool quite a bit. However, it was not serviced (hoovered & treated) the 12 days we were there, perhaps because we were the last guests of the season. Another thing that didn't work were the English-language channels but there was Netflix & internet access via the smart TV so we could just browse instead. A great overall experience and I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

Magical Sardinia Escape

Firstly on arrival in Sardinia (Alghero airport) it was only a 10 min drive to the beautiful Villa Serena how lucky were we. The villa is set in a peaceful countryside location yet only minutes from Alghero and it's beaches. Wow ! the villa was immaculately presented with a truly fabulous swimming pool, small olive grove and tropical trees in the beautiful private garden. We found the accommodation spotless and comfortable this includes the beds which I am quite fussy about as I have a bad back. Your every need is absolutely catered for even having additional cooking facilities outside, it was tremendous. I cannot recommend this villa and Sardinia highly enough, 1 week wasn't long enough and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful Villa

We stayed here for a week in August. Fantastic villa with everything you could need. The pool was immaculate and enjoyed by all my teenagers. Great location. 10 minutes from the town but just in the quiet countryside. Owners were very helpful.

Rustic Sardinian Charm

Lovely large villa on a generously sized gorgeous private plot. We stayed for 10 days, weather wonderful and used the pool, which is wonderful, lots. Loved the outside seating areas, with visiting geckos and cat! Alghero is a wonderful town - really nice buzz, old city is beautiful, amazing restaurants and felt really family friendly and safe throughout. Villa is a little way out of the town and harbour - a car was a necessity. Communication with owner is exceptionally good and they are really helpful. Accommodation is large and comfortable with excellent air con (v important as it was 42 degrees when we were there!). Lots of games and books, and the information manual is incredibly comprehensive.

Eight of us stayed here for two weeks and had a dream holiday. The villa has everything you need, is immaculately clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect only a mile from beautiful town and beaches and feels very private and safe. The pool is a really good size and safe for children's. Grotte de Neptuno is a must even if next day you cant walk( 700 steps) and Bombarda beach. From the moment you arrive to the last sunset shared from the great veranda with a nice glass of Sardinian Vermentino wine, there is absolutely nothing to find fault with. I will recommend this enchanting villa to everyone who is looking for a perfect holiday.

Amazing Villa in beautiful Alghero

Excellent family villa, with a gorgeous pool and delicious food from the private chef! - 5 Star Excellent

Stayed here for a week with our two children in June and had a perfect holiday. We'd highly recommend this place. The villa is excellent - very quiet location, but within easy access of Alghero and some beautiful beaches. The downstairs part of the villa was beautifully cool so didn't require air conditioning (although there was this option if we'd needed it) even in the 43 degree heat of the day. The pool is perfect for families, as it's only 80cm deep for half the pool, dropping off to 1.8m in the deep end. So the kids could splash about and play happily, whilst I did laps! And it's not salt water, unlike most of the other pools in Sardinia. But the crowning glory of this place is most definitely the enthusiastic private chef Marco! Would highly recommend getting the private chef option - the food was superb, loved by adults and kids alike. Loads of variety, happy to take suggestions and completely un-intrusive. It was lovely to get to the end of the day and have a cocktail served, whilst a delicious dinner was being cooked for you. He was also a huge help, recommending lovely places to visit and even helping us out when we got lost! Thank you so much.

“The Jewel of Alghero” - 5 Star Excellent

We spent 10 luxurious days in September at this piece of paradise with family and friends, I have seen this kind of place in movies. The villa is spacious with nicely presented gardens and very clean and peaceful swimming pool. The villa is very clean,the bed sheets, pillows and mattress are very comfortable. The breakfast and dinners, cooked by the chef who came to the villa, tasted great and made with local produce. A little away from tourist stream, but very conveniently situated for visiting all the surrounding highlights. Overall a wonderful 10 days feeling like a movie star.

Myself, husband and 2 children enjoyed a fantastic holiday at this beautiful sunny villa in August 2016. 
The location Is perfect only 12 minutes drive from the Airport, 15 minutes to the old town where you will find lovely restaurants and boutiques. Stunning turquoise beaches are plenty and close by, the Grotto is a must see. 
The villa is very spacious, immaculate and well equipped to suit all our needs. We felt very secure and relaxed during our stay, the large swimming pool was also greatly welcomed by all. I would highly recommend this villa and the beautiful Alghero. The agent was very reliable and friendly making the booking process easy and straightforward. 
We will definitely be returning to serena villa.
